10/9/08 - GROUND is playing Southern High School's Coffee House this Friday at 6:30pm. Tickets $5 at the door. Also, GROUND is playing Herrington Harbor South on Sunday, October 19, 2008 at 1:00pm for their Herring Day Eco-Bay Celebration. Click here for directions. See you there!
6/18/08 - New photos of GROUND and STOCKYARD from their 5/31/08 performances at Woods Holy Grounds in Severna Park, Maryland! STOCKYARD, winners of the 10th Annual Anne Arundel County Battle of the Bands, took advantage of their complimentary photography shoot which they won in a drawing held earlier in the year.
5/13/08 - My family and I had the incredibly fun opportunity to do some modeling for Rack Room Shoes recently and we are now appearing on their website, in-store ads, as well as your weekend newspapers beginning this coming Saturday and Sunday! 3/7/08 - Added new photo gallery of GROUND performing at the 10th Annual Anne Arundel County Battle of the Bands, January 19, 2008 with Parker King receiving the "Best Bass" award for the competition.
3/4/08 - Two photographs from my "Living Portraits of the Chesapeake" collection are now on display and for sale at the River Gallery in Galesville now through March 30, 2008. "Through the Woods" (Black and White) 16x20 mounted print and "South River at Sunrise" 24x36 print mounted on canvas were selected by jury for the 19th Annual Juried Community Show. Stop by and take a look at all of the beautiful art on display!
2/19/08 - Congratulations to QUESTION THE HEARING for having the highest print order total from the Battle! They will receive a full resolution disk of negatives from their performance. The top three bands, STOCKYARD, MOUNT WEATHER, and QUESTION THE HEARING were entered into a random drawing for a complimentary photo shoot with STOCKYARD coming up the winner! Thanks to everyone for their print orders.
1/25/08 - Battle Photo Contest
In response to the overwhelming number of visitors and print orders placed for the competing bands, not only will the band who has the most print orders receive a disk of full resolution negatives of their performance the top three will be in a drawing to win one hour of professional photography time (*location of your choice) from Tracy King Images free of charge!
All qualifying print orders must be received by February 14, 2008. The drawing will be held on February 15, 2008 and the winners will be announced here and via email and/or their MySpace messaging.

1/24/08 - Check out today's cover story and photos (mine!) of the South County Gazette featuring Southern High School's GROUND (with Parker King winning the Battle's "Best Bass" award) and second place Battle winners CHOICE.
1/23/08 - The Official Battle of the Bands X images are available for viewing and for purchase (link below)! You must sign in with a valid email for access. It is suggested that you view the images on a high quality color calibrated computer monitor for the best viewing experience.
The images are best viewed in the 'view slide show' format and are categorized by band name. They are not displayed at full resolution, however, all professional prints ordered will be printed from the full resolution negative on professional photography paper. You can pause the slide show, select, crop, change the image to black and white prior to adding it to your shopping cart. Orders will be shipped to you directly from Miller's Professional Imaging.

Come out and support GROUND and the other awesome Anne Arundel County bands at the 10th Annual Anne Arundel County Battle of the Bands at the Maryland Hall for the Creative and Performing Arts this Saturday, January 19, 2008. Tickets are on sale through the Maryland Hall online ($15) and discounted tickets through each band member at their schools ($12). I will be there as the official photographer for the event and Maryland Hall. A link to the photographs post event will be posted here and prints from the event will be available for purchase.

12/4/07 - Join me once again this coming Saturday December 8 at the First Baptist Church of Crofton for their 6th Annual Fall Arts and Craft Fair. There are only a handful of 2008 Calendars, Italian Moulding Picture Frames, and Crabby Mugs left!
